By train

Evian has a small train station with direct connections to Geneva, Bellegarde (i.e. stop-over when coming from Paris or Lyon) or Annemasse (i.e stop-over when coming from Annecy or Aix-les-Bains). For international train travel, Geneva or Lausanne are easily accessible after which a region train or boat can bring you to Evian. Travel by train can be long, but the planet will thank you for it and the scenery will more than compensate!
